you cant be cheap for the rest of your life...gotta spend some to win some....and us giving borderline good players over 10 mil a year contract isnt going to win a championship...we can say how much potential this person has and this person has but at the end of the day potential doesnt win championships its the chemistry and their skill level and effort the team puts on the court home or away every night....watching the nuggets sometimes they do that most of the time they dont..sadly we all know run n gun teams dont win championships and we dont have the defense most upper western/eastern teams have..

Sorry I just do not see 9 mill a year difference in production between Gallo and Gay no matter how you slice it. Most stats point to Gallo having a better more efficient season.

You give the argument that no run and gun teams win it and we are bad at defense. But Rudy Gay is worse at defense and is more of a chucker than Gallo. Your reasoning doesn't make sense to me.

    Not a fan of Gay...

I still dont get at all though why managment didn't make a run at OJ Mayo. Baffling to say the least. I dont recall Mayo even being on the radar...

    lol check this

    Gallinari

    Code:
    PPG	16.2
    RPG	5.6
    APG	2.4
    SPG	0.8
    BPG	0.4
    FG%	0.403
    FT%	0.822
    3P%	0.347
    MPG	32.5
    Gay

    Code:
    PPG	17.8
    RPG	5.8
    APG	2.6
    SPG	1.4
    BPG	0.7
    FG%	0.410
    FT%	0.805
    3P%	0.311
    MPG	36.5

and keep in mind that gallinari started the season shooting in the high 20%
"There are only two or three superstars in the league anyways," Karl said early in the season.

In fairness to Gay he's obviously having a career worse year, but he has been close to 20ppg each of the prior 5 seasons on 46% shooting.

But yea even then he's not much of an upgrade over Gallo if any.

gallo is also making half the money gay is and not to mention younger with more years on his contract
