I'd definitely take Pat Patterson or Marcus Morris. Both are nice stretch options.

I like this move as a prerequisite to another move(s) which is what it seems like it would be. Sign Cook, trade Rip for a big which solidifies our frontline while getting under the LT(moving Rip), and we get younger while adding another shooter.

Seems like one of the few realistic moves we can make this year. All for it.

Rip hasn't been exactly healthy much last year and this year. That makes him a liability to the team that would get him. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Moving Rip for a serviceable big isn't exactly the move of the century so it shouldn't be all that difficult.

Isn't there an article on PSD that mentions Phoenix has interest in him, so there is a market for his services. Not implying that Phoenix is our ideal trading partner because I haven't watched much Nba this year, moreso that teams do have interest in acquiring him.

No one said he was special. It's okay to like a move no matter how big or small.

We aren't in the position to make blockbuster moves, why can't fans understand that? If a move allows us to get a serviceable player, while getting under the LT and adding a big which we are in desperate need of, why not do it?

This is just speculation on my part but a good move and or moves is a good move no matter how you slice it.

That would be great if Rip was traded for either one of them.

Just looked at Cooks stats. He has shot over 40% from the floor once in 6 seasons. A career 37% shooter, and hasn't exactly had a great 3 point percentage either except for 1 season. Not familiar with him, but from his stats I don't see how he is such a good shooter.
