Soccer in Citi Field?
Full disclaimer: FoC does not know soccer. When FoC was a cub sportswriter working for a piddly crap weekly newspaper, he covered college soccer not knowing what the hell he was looking at.
So I gotta ask: How is it possible for Citi Field to house a soccer team while the baseball season is going on? How can they possibly keep the field in shape for both sports.
Made zero sense to me until it dawned on me the Mets might be so hard up for revenue that they wouldn't mind sacrificing the well being of the playing field if it would mean another revenue stream in the form of rent money.
But like i said, i know nothing about soccer so maybe I'm way off base here. Can someone set me straight? What am I missing?
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."
