Ainge said recently he feels this is the starting lineup they haven't been able to get all year. I think (and hope) Collins has had his last start.

doc said no in practice interview , he's not going to shorten the rotation this early in the season and i think that means no changing the starting lineup .

i really hope collins doesn't start or even play but doc knows something we don't.

To me the guards are locked in. Green could start over Bass and I'd consider that ideal. Green could start for Pierce and I'd be willing to give it a fair chance. But Collins starting makes so little sense I would start to really question Doc's fit with this team going forward.

    2013-2014 BOSTON CELTICS

    RONDO / PRESSEY
    BRADLEY / BAYLESS / JOHNSON
    GREEN / WALLACE / BOGANS
    BASS / HUMPHRIES / FAVERANI
    SULLINGER / OLYNYK / ANTHONY

To question Doc's fit with this team going forward is ridiculous. The Celtics aren't a good rebounding team. Putting Collins at C, and allowing KG to slide back to PF helps the rebounding.

I don't like Collins starting, but he's our only true center.

KG's rebound totals are lower at PF and Collins doesn't rebound at all.

Also Collins is shooting .333% percent from the floor

Collins role is to be an emergency backup.

I take his starting as Doc believing the C's are in a state of emergency.

Brandon Bass will replace Jason Collins in the Celtics' starting lineup tonight, with Rondo, Bradley, Pierce and KG. C's-Pacers 7:30 WEEI.

Has Wyc done an interview in awhile or does he just show his face when the team does good.

Figured that line-up would be back... Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense but if it's to get Bass on track fine, but I'd rather have one more shake-up and give Green the start at the 4 for a few games... Green can handle West and the next few games don't have any bruising PF's that Green can't handle...

Doc is gonna give Sully extra minutes anyhow, so why not lock in Bass for 20mpg and get Green closer to 30mpg and Sully closer to 20mpg...
