The Rams are not expected to re-sign free agent S Craig Dahl this offseason.
St. Louis is expected to pursue "a better coverage option" at the free safety spot. Dahl, 27, is no better than a replacement-level talent and forced just one turnover in 16 starts in 2012. He should resurface elsewhere as a backup. Jan 4 - 2:11 PM

Janoris Jenkins is a Master Baiter.
The Rams are expected to approach FS Quintin Mikell about restructuring his contract this offseason.
As is the case with Steven Jackson, the Rams want Mikell back but only at a lower rate. Although Mikell had a fine season with 114 tackles, three sacks and forced four fumbles, his $6 million salary will count $9 million against the cap. Due $4 million, OT Wayne Hunter will have to restructure as well. Jan 4 - 1:15 PM

Good. Wouldn't be surprised to see him released as a cap casualty altogether.

Yeah, and don't forget about amendola or gibson either. Gibson is probably out.
I want us to keep William Hayes, but he might be gone too.
Robert Turner, I hope, stays because we need the O line help and consistency.
The other unrestricted are whatever to me, easily replaceable.
What do you think a fair contract for Amendola is? I mean, the guy is coming off of only 12 starts in the past 2 seasons. I don't want to sign a guy to a hefty contract if he is constantly injured.

Oh, I'm not forgetting Gibson. I'm just hoping that the FO is smart enough to not offer him ****. I'd like to keep Chris Williams too (in addition to the guys, not named Gibson, that you mentioned), but we probably don't have the money.
I said earlier in the year that i wouldn't give Amendola more than $5 mil/year. With all the injury problems he's been having though, and as little cap space as we have to spare, I probably wouldn't even give him close to that. But hey, I'm no GM.

Don't we have one of these already?

After signing our practice squad and futures contracts we only have about $2 mil left!
Don't think that's gonna be enough
