He's a much more complete player than I think anyone expected and he has a very high ceiling but with a long ways to go. Still, a solid stretch for him though.
    Totally agree.

Drafting Ross is the perfect example of picking the best player as oppose to picking for need...

nobody aside from the raptors thought ross at 8 was the best available. if ross pans out the way we want him to, he could be the steal of this years draft class. a couple players, andre drummond being the main one, were the 'clear picks' to take at that point in the draft.

Andre Drummond would have been a good pick as well.

Oh look, teams have realized that if you take away Ross' shot, he doesn't have much else in a half court set.

I think Ross is going to be a solid player. But man, we missed out on a superstar in Andre Drummond.

Casey is purposely using him as a spot up shooter, and he isn't being given consistent minutes.

He is only a rookie, slow your roll.

Until Ross puts on muscle, learns to dribble, he will just a spot up shooter. A more athletic Mike Miller.

He has been playing significant minutes recently. Watch, as this season continues, his flaws will become more magnified because of his limited arsenal on the offensive end.

If Bargnani comes off the bench with him, both of them have the ability to go off on any given night. But as it stands now, I don't see him contributing more than a couple of buckets a night.

Maybe. But missing out on a superstar will take a while to get used to, even if Ross ends up being a good player.

Whats done, is done. He is a Piston, nothing we can do about.

I like that thinking. Does it apply to all transactions, draft picks, and acquisitions?

He can dribble, he just isn't comfortable with it yet. As I said, he is a rookie, they take time to develop. Give him time dude, he's hasn't even gotten his feet wet yet.

He has all the tools, he just has to figure out how to use them.

Drummond right now is a super athletic garbage man, his offensive game is so raw. He's a good rebounder, but so is Reggie Evans.

Both will have good careers, not sure what the big deal is.

I'm not sure if your a Ross hater or just angry that BC didn't pick Drummond.

Ross will be a good player man, I'm happy we got him.

The Drummond nut hugging by Raptors fans is getting out of control, either become a Piston fan or just except that we didn't get him and move on...

Edit: Not trying to be rude, I just don't see the point looking in hindsight.
