Mike Tice Interviewing for Titans OC Job

Guess Loggains won't stay after all...Please let it be Tom Moore!

Titans will interview ex-Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice for the same position in Tennessee.
Tice was promoted from offensive line coach to offensive coordinator in Chicago prior to the 2012 season, and the unit finished No. 28 in total offense under his guidance. Tennessee wanted to interview Tice last season before he was promoted in Chicago, but they were denied permission to do so, and Tice was subsequently promoted. Tennessee fired Chris Palmer as the team's OC midseason 2012. Tom Moore, a team consultant, is also considered a candidate for the job.

However, Jim Wyatt expects Loggains to get the job

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean "expects" Titans interim offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains to be given the full-time job in 2013.
The choice likely will not be popular with Titans fans. Chris Palmer was fired as the team's offensive coordinator after the team started 4-7 and ranked No. 24 in offense. Loggains, the quarterbacks coach, took over on an interim basis, and the offense didn't show a whole lot of improvement. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt, though. The Tennessee offensive line was ravaged by injuries and lost four starters along the way in 2012. Jake Locker was playing with a bum left shoulder, and Kenny Britt was never 100 percent due to offseason knee surgeries. Ex-Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice and Titans consultant Tom Moore have also been linked to the job.

I would like Tom Moore and Tice wouldnt be so bad but we will most likely keep Loggains because it makes the least amount of sense. We need veteran coaches in here to help get us back on track.

I don't see them bringing in a proven commodity like more and leaving him as just a consultant. Tice doesn't give you anything more than Munch does as far as offense goes but Moore on the other hand has been at the helm of some petty powerful offenses in the league. I think Loggains goes back to QB coach and Moore is the new OC.

Cant understand the thinking behind Munchak on this one. Loggans, although only had 4 games to do so, showed no improvement in the offense and the bears have a worse Oline than the Titans do, how is Tice supposed to help? You have a guy like Tom Moore walking the sidelines who has worked with Peyton Manning and the high powered Colts offense and you're not going to give him a shot? If this doesnt work for the Titans...we will be looking for a new head coach next year.

I don't think Tice will get the job. It'll be Loggains or Moore.

Should be looking for a new HC this year...but mike tice isn't horrible...had a great offense in minnesota in the 2000's and Tom Moore is reaching retirement age, plus wasn't so successful with the jets offense past 2 seasons...I'm ok with Tice

If that happens then the minds in charge of this franchise are dumber than I thought..... The offense got worse in every single statistic under Loggains.

With the coaches available it blows my mind that we keep promoting position coaches. Its fine if you think you have some sort of genius or someone with experience but we had a small sample this season, Bud just needs to open the wallet and get a legit OC in Tennessee.

Bud reportedly opened his wallet when Munchak was first hired. We all seen what he did.

Munchak is one of the lowest paid head coaches in the league. He makes less than half of what Jeff Fisher was getting paid as the head coach of the Titans.
