I will hold my comments on this situation, as most of you already know my thoughts on Mayhew.

I am just happy most everyone on PSD is finally coming around and realizing Mayhew is probably going to fail because he is too stubborn/set in his ways and doesn't have the credentials previous to coming to DET to act this way.

    Expect a **** draft.

If we stay at 5 and pick someone, it will likely be a DE LB LT or CB. Can't go wrong with either....we need all.

    I can see it now
Depending on how FA goes and if they move Suh to DE that isn't a bad first 2 rounds. Actually, it's one I was thinking about when Woods went pro.

That's not bad of a DLine though. Scrap the wide 9 and that front 4 could be dominate.

If we draft a DT with the 5th pick, I'm trying out for the lions as a Secondary player because it would be clear they don't give a **** who's back there...

So are we going WR and RB in the first 2 rounds with a chance of a DT?

I don't think Mayhew is that dumb. Perhaps his ego got the best of him last year and he thought he had a better eye for secondary talent than most which is why he felt he could draft players later on and be successful.

I'm hoping he learned from that mistake and will not ignore the GAPING holes on this roster that he has built. He says BPA and thats because we have some needs on both sides of the ball. In the top 3 rounds, it would not be terrible if we addressed the following positions:

    RB, WR, G, C
    or
    DE, OLB, MLB, S, CB

I highly doubt he goes WR, RB, DT like some of you are suggesting. The BPA would work if a top 15 RB was sitting there at pick #37. Thats what BPA means.

I think with our top 3 picks we address the D big time. At least I hope so.
