Well I actually hope he continues his trend of WR in the 2nd/3rd rounds I seriously wouldn't mind another big WR there. Da'Rick Rogers has some problems, but he's the perfect guy to have opposite of Calvin.

    Just imagine lining that up

    Calvin - Pettigrew __________ Broyles - Da'Rick Rogers

That's just begging for coverage problems, have to respect all of those options.

If I was a D coordinator against that, I'd just leave Grew wide open and let the ball bounce off his hands into the defender's lap or strip him when he catches it.

Grew needs to be moved into the Riley Reiff role of extra TE blocker.

Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew aka Matt Millen, Jr. believes acquiring receivers to help quarterback Matthew Stafford is the best way to build a team.

Grew needs to be moved into the Charles Rogers role of former Detroit Lion.

A good defense that creates turnovers and can prevent the team from NEEDING to put up 30+ to win a game would help Stafford just as much, too.

I'm hoping he learned from that mistake and will not ignore the GAPING holes on this roster that he has built. He says BPA and thats because we have some needs on both sides of the ball. In the top 3 rounds, it would not be terrible if we addressed the following positions:

    RB, WR, G, C
    or
    DE, OLB, MLB, S, CB

I highly doubt he goes WR, RB, DT like some of you are suggesting. The BPA would work if a top 15 RB was sitting there at pick #37. Thats what BPA means.

I think with our top 3 picks we address the D big time. At least I hope so.
Weren't most of them hurt?? I thought Jonte Green held up pretty good when he was out there.

Stafford can only throw to them in practice though.
