It was a great trade for St. Louis whether Bradford pans out or not i love RG3 though glad he isn't in the division.

Yes. RGIII, barring serious injury, is a franchise QB that will be elite for the next decade. Anyone who had a chance of drafting him, should have.

So looking at it in retrospect, my answer is overwhelmingly 'yes'. St. Louis messed up.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

Bradford shows flashes of good QB play, but IMO that's all he is ever gonna show. Just from a marketing standpoint, the Rams should've taken RG3. His running ability would've improved an offense with very few weapons and would've helped out Steven Jackson a ton. They would have a huge spotlight on their team/organization, and just like the Redskins, they would have been a team that everybody talks about despite their level of play on the field. It would've been worth picking RG3, especially since I think the Rams will eventually find the need to get another quarterback soon.

I think we need to find out what the Rams do with those picks. My gut tells me that the Rams did the right thing, and that the quality they can add through those picks will out weigh what RGIII would have brought on his own, especially considering that Bradford can be very very good.

No because Bradford doesn't have much help. STL has started to take the SF-Alex Smith route by surrounding Bradford with bad players, bad linemen, coaching changes, etc.... but then they caught themselves turning into the 2005-2010 49ers and prevented it from happening by hiring Jeff Fisher....so that's a start, but they still have a weak supporting cast. Basically, Griffin's development would be messed up to an extent as well if he was playing for STL, just like Bradford.

Bradford would be doing much better with the redskins than he is with the rams.

Did the Colts make a mistake not drafting Ryan Leaf?
When I asked how a Manziel fan could bash Bridgewater's size.

No way, RG3 is great and everything, but Redskins overpaid big-time. He's a nice player, but there has to be a limit to how much you give up for just one player.

Rams have Bradford, who was the 1st overall pick 2 years ago. He may not be elite quite yet, but he's shown some promise, and there's no way you give up on the #1 pick to draft a guy #2 two years later.
Rams already had their QB, and on top of that they got the #6 pick, 2 more 1st rounders, and a 2nd round pick.

IMO, trading away the #6 pick was a bigger mistake.

0 pro bowl selections this season.

Bradford is their guy and he's going to be great when they get some more talent around him. I'm high on this team.

Is a season a fluke when you lose to a team who's starting QB is Christian Ponder?

Regular season doesn't count. You taught me that.
