No but the Pats going to the SB would. People get tired of seeing the same old team. Sure it would be fun but the story line of Manning making it back to the SB when most thought he may never be able to just throw a football let alone play in the NFL again is huge.

Im pretty sure the last 2 times the patriots were in the superbowl they set records for the highest rated superbowls ever.

A Peyton SB would still draw a larger crowd.

I dont think it gets a larger crowd. If anything its the same. There are far more patriots fans than bronco fans.

Its really not about Patriot fans or Broncos fans its about the story line. I will say though I have never in my life ever met a Pats fan in person. I have never in my life met a person who was rooting for them to win a game. Outside the Raiders, and Cowboys (I even have a few friends who are fans of both and yes most of the Raider fans I have met have records) I would have pinned them to be one of the most hated.

Like I said this has nothing to do with Pats Broncos this has to do with Brady and Manning. Brady is a stuck up arrogant dick snob who looks down at the world below him and Belichick is a cold brash hateful man who also looks down at the world. Peyton is this big dumb ole southern good ole boy with a smile and a handshake. No way to prove it but I bet you anything Manning has a much higher likability level than Tom Brady. Match that with the story line and poof a larger crowd. (this post excludes Norm)

    * Any scenario that has Green Bay going to the Super Bowl, leading to an elite QB battle in the Super Bowl where Rodgers faces either Peyton or Brady.

    * And of course, the ideal outcome would be anything to do with Peyton, so Denver beating New England in the AFC Championship and then beating Green Bay in the Super Bowl.
Nevermind the media, that'd just be a damn good football game

That covers 5 states including Phoenix Arizona (my home "town")and Seattle Washington. I can take it even further I have never in person (excluding football games) seen a Patriot hat or Jersey. Boston Red Sox sure but not the Patriots.
