Name one team that carries two situational lefties. Most situational lefties only pitch what 20-30 innings a season?

This is crazy talk. We are talking like maybe 5 innings worth of relief work where oliver wouldn't be available and we'd have to pitch Happ against tough LHB.

I don't even understand why it has to be Happ. Delebar or example held LHB to a .551 OPS last season. Sergio Santos career OPS mark against LHB is .640 which like Delebar is actually better then against RHB.

Lincoln was actually surprisingly good against LHB and held them to a .621 OPS last season.

I just don't understand the panic. If rogers stinks up the joint, you have Loup sitting in AAA.
Oliver isn't a situational lefty though. Neither is Happ, really. Happ/Oliver/Loup makes a ton of sense to me.

Like it was saifd before Oliver isnt just a situational lefty he is effective with both splits.

If oliver pitches in 60~ games in a year then you will also have only one lefty in the pen available in 60~ games a year as you dont want to use Oliver back-to-back games.

Typically you would use that Lefty in a pen to eliminate a power LHB who crushes RHP. I dont think its wise to use a pitch with OK reverse splits in a situation where that LHB crushes RHP.

But I guess we will see, i just find it hard to believe that AA/Gibbons will have only 2 LHP in the BP to start the season.
