Will Greg Oden play another game?

I don't doubt that this guy was a once in a generation player when he was healthy. He showed major flashes of brilliance, dominant defender, developing offense player.

No doubt would he be challenging Howard as the best center in the league if he wasn't as injury prone as you can get.

He's not a Sam Bowie, he had tremendous talent, but will forever be a giant bust because Kevin Durant came after him.

If you read his Wiki, he had THREE microfracture surgeries already and he's only 24. He also had arthoscopic knee surgery. Crazy.

Question is, will he ever play another game?

He's sitting out this season to rehab injuries, his third straight season missed.

He's only 24, so I bet money, sooner or later, he will. Whether or not he can resemble anything close to an All-Star if he puts his injuries behind him (ala Grant Hill) remains to be seen.

Batum said on twitter that he ate dinner with Oden on December 5th and that he's planning a comeback the 2013/2014 season. I'd love for him to come to OKC and give it one last try. Would it be ironic if he became a double/double machine again with the team that got KD below him in the draft. It would piss the Blazers off!!!

man, that vid's tough to watch. He's a class player/person. Really just a sad story, don't think he'll ever come back.

He will play 1 game with the Heat and then sadly, his leg will fall off.

I like everyone being a homer and placing him on their team but I can seriously see a team like the Spurs taking a gamble on him. Pop controlling his minutes and the family type organization around him, he would be a really good fit

Im 100% sure that with all that money and free time on his hands he has already played another game.

Suns do make sense. Even if it's only one year. It's no secret that Phoenix resurrects players' careers. He and his agent need to take advantage of it.

It's crazy... the guy was draft in 07 and has only played in two seasons, and a total of 82 games exactly, which issentially 1 season. It's sad.

I do expect that he will play again, and I am hopeful for him, but I gotta say, I don't expect much to come of it.
