Yup, especially because in his two stints in the AL east he got absolutely destroyed. As stated above he had a 5.09 ERA. To expand on that a bit more let look at his career avg vs his splits with the Yanks:
S0/9- Career Avg 8.0 Yanks- 6.8
BB/9 - Career - 2.4 Yanks- 3.2
SO- 162 gm avg- 193 04- 150 10-121
One area he did better was hits.
162 avg- 212 04- 195 2010-155
So that is one area that he did do better in, but outside of that he has struggled in the Al East. I could see him doing well for WAS though.
