So by that, I'd take LT. But if you had to choose, there's really no way to justify it using real fact. Both are amazing players
Ever hear of a guy named Dick Butkus? I personally cant pick between them.

I hope this was a joke...

That's why I said arguably. There really aren't any guys that you can say are even close to being as good as LT though

No LT was in a league all by himself. Derrick Thomas was the closes thing and he really was not that close.

Exactly, there aren't any guys that are pure pass rushing linebackers that were/are as dominant as LT. Personally I think Demarcus Ware is the closest and even he isn't even close. LT was just absolutely unstoppable for so long, I doubt we ever see a guy like him again

Again Imagine Lewis in the 80s/90s? His size/Strength and ability while not being hindered by the crap offensive rules....Oh yea he is also the PManning of defenses on a logical level.

What was meant for me will be Mine once again... THE CHAMP OF CHAMPS IS BACK

Andre Tippett and Pat Swilling were in the Thomas class too.

Best of all time ? At what ?

Are we talking Homicide ? Statutory rape ? Or drug use ?

You could make a case (no pun intended) for both players.

    What's the criteria for greatest?

LT was more dominant at his position, but Lewis does more to elevate the whole team.

This is almost the AP vs Manning debate. AP is in his own class as far as RBs go right now, but Manning does more to elevate his team. Rambo vs Patton.

    .
That sentence indicates you never saw Taylor play or heard his rants which elevated the whole team.

They were great just not sure I would rank them as high as Thomas. Then again I saw him twice a year and he and Neil Smith had a thing for Elway. Thomas also holds the single game sack record.
