I think Buffalo's slogan is…"Buffalo, it can't possibly get any friggin colder than here."

    Or some such thing.

Buffalo's single greatest contribution to sports was the invention of the Buffalo Hot Wing, now a staple of every sports bar.

Because he might just be a AAAA guy they don't need. Think Chris Carter or Mike Hessman.

I actually liked Chris Carter and thought he was pretty solid on offense.

It's a shame it was him we got in exchange for Wagner, though.

Everyone is down on Duda.. But he does have value on this 2013 Mets team.

It's not many games, but the Mets will have to worry about a DH in the lineup more often now... And since everyone on here believes he could be a good fit for an AL team, Duda does prove to have value as potential DH roster spot for us this season & future seasons.. that is worst case scenario if he continues to play so poorly in the OF defensively.

If I counted correctly, we only have 11 games with the DH. It's not like we're an AL team with 81+ games with the DH. It's not much different than last year. Only 2 more games (again, if I counted correctly).

We have 10 games this yr where we use a DH, last yr we had 9..... This year doesn't help having Duda any more than last.

You 'aint seen nothing yet. The Mets are going to break the record for the number of players used in a season.

They've so far signed 9 players, none of which are any good.

Meh. The high today will be a balmy 3 degrees Fahrenheit

Visiting the folks in Florida this week. Eighty degrees.

    Let's play two.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

Exactly. However, I am sure that most will take note that Marty has not replied to provide an answer as too whom he would have signed this off season.
