I have to say, the first few months should be somewhat exciting seeing all of these new guys play.
Then it'll be MOAR LOSSESSSSSS!
I like the upside with this move. Good power in the minors, and a pretty nice walk rate as well. Hopefully he isn't a defensive liability. He was solid in his very limited time with Colorado.

And LOL on Duda, I feel the same way.
I know it was in Colorado Springs, but Brown hit .308/.364/.597 with 33 2B and 24 HR in 438 PA. His minor league equivalency calculator projects to a .255/.305/.467 line in the majors, or a .772 OPS.
But he's shown nice walk rates in the past, so that OBP could be higher.

Wow... really enjoyed those clips from earlier stuna. Ya never know... we'll see. I HIGHLY doubt we resign Hairston. Coming off a season with 20 HR's when he didn't even play full time, he's gonna try to cash in as much as he can. This will probably be his best chance of his career to do so, and we obviously won't pay it right now.

Why did the Rockies let him go????
Their outfield as it stands now is: Carlos Gonzalez, Dexter Fowler, and Michael Cuddyer with Tyler Colvin as 4th OF. Eric Young Jr. and Charlie Blackmon are on the team too, so there is no room.
On the plus side his MLBA was 60pts higher than Jason Bay's...of course that's still piss poor at best....
Andrew Brown: The latest PBTB
Interestingly enough, someone once wrote a song about his sister:
FELLOW SATINISTS INCLUDE:FoC, YS, Harry, Zmaster, Gotta, ArkansasMetsFan, KingsnQueens7, The-rock-man
I would take it a step further Mr. FoC.
Andrew Brown is simultaneously today's PBTB and the Mets most recent APH.
A true feat.
Can we sign a guy to a major league contract yet?
