    Playoff Team Records

Playoff teams' win/loss vs. fellow playoff teams is much more balanced this year. Last year for example, you had the 9-7 Bengals going 0-7 in this category. Most interesting thing in here might be how few games Atlanta has played against the field. Ranked in win% order...

    AFC
    Colts: 3-2
    Patriots: 3-3
    Bengals: 2-2
    Texans: 3-4
    Broncos: 2-3
    Ravens: 2-4

    NFC
    Falcons: 2-0
    Seahawks: 4-1
    49ers: 3-2
    Redskins: 2-2
    Vikings: 3-4
    Packers: 2-4

That is kind of funny how the falcons only played 2 playoff teams this year and everyone else played at least 4... Although not necesarily 4 different teams.

Only team from the AFC that Patriots lost to was the Ravens, and god damn that entire game was ****ing retarded for both teams.

Yea, but again, the Falcons are the interesting ones to me.

They have played the fewest games against teams who went on to make the postseason, and haven't since week 5. The two teams they played are very different monsters now, as well.

-They played the Broncos in week two, amid that team's 2-3 start before rattling off 11 straight.
-They played the Redskins in week 5 as a part of their 2-3, and eventual 3-6 start, before rattling off 7 straight.

Atlanta's best statement may be the thumping of the Giants...but even that game came at home, during the Giants crash, losing 5 of 7.

I'm a subscriber of: You are what your record says you are...so I'm hesitant to be so doubtful of a #1 seed...but I just don't know with them.

I keep forgetting the Falcons are in the playoffs
Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "

Yeah Atlanta is overrated. I think it would have been funny in New Orleans won their division this year with a 7-9 record and then beat a team, like the Seahawks or someone, in the first round of the playoffs.

they'll tell you it should be 5-0 since if their WR could catch they'd have beaten the 49ers................

Yea overrated huh, 13-3 means nothing I guess. No worries, can't wait to prove all you haters wrong when ATL cruises past the NFC while playing at home.
