I think so... that, or something close to it. However, it'll probably be under a different coach. At this point, it looks increasingly likely that the different coach will be on a different team.
You're kind of cherry-picking slumps, aren't you? He worked very well in Jackson's system, but you're focusing on a bad postseason (ignoring the great ones). He was one of several Lakers who looked tired in those playoffs. He managed to be effective most of last year, too, no thanks to Brown. He had five double-doubles in 10 games before D'Antoni took over.
It doesn't appear that the evidence says what you claim it says.
I used to think it was the offense, but Pau has struggled around the basket. He can't finish inside anymore, which is startling.

There's a major difference between international ball and the NBA. While pau may be good against the non athletic FIBA players, he can no longer make much of an impact in the NBA. Lakers fans should forever be greatful to pau for helping them from come back from disaster and get to 3 finals and 2 titles in a row. However, he has become a liability moreso than an asset of late. Jordan hill has outplayed Pau to the point that he deserves the starting spot over him.Originally Posted by Hellcrooner:24939728
