Avery set to return vs. Grizzlies on 1/2/13!!

The need for Avery Bradley is growing exponentially with each embarrassing Celtics defensive performance. Once again Bradley’s name surfaced as a possible salve following the Celtics’ stunning 118-96 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday at Sleep Train Arena.

Bradley is expected to return for the Celtics’ next game, Jan. 2 against the Grizzlies, and his defensive prowess is needed. The Celtics have allowed an average of 108.3 points in the past three games and yielded seven 3-pointers in the fourth quarter Sunday.

#Celticstalk: #Celtics Doc Rivers says Rondo (right hip/thigh) is questionable for tomorrow's game vs. #Grizzlies.

    Mark Murphy‏@Murf56

Bradley just started practicing. Doc says if he passes that test, then he'll start tomorrow.

I kind of hope he plays very well and we still lose so it doesnt mask our problems.

A trade for a big man is going to happen , that's almost 100 % sure .I'm tired of losing so can't say i hope we lose .

    Hmmm... that's an interesting thought.

I agree with leprechaun5 though, a trade for a big seems almost "mandatory" if they want to have any chance to compete this season.

Bradely should address ball pressure and perimeter defense in general. There should be less coverage and rotational issues by extension but the need for a quality big will still exist.

    NOT ME...

More of a reason to justify buying the NBA league pass...

I don't think they'd let him play if his shoulders weren't healthy

Yes, he's had long enough. There was talk of an October training camp return, so now that he's waited 3 months more, he should indeed be fully ready.
