I remember there was a very large amount of people suggesting that Watt would be a major bust. I'm really happy he wasn't, and I really like that whole Texans defense. If Cushing was healthy, the Texans would have wrapped up the #1 seed two weeks ago I think.

Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "

A lot of Texans' fans including myself bashed the pick

Texans tried trading down to pick Aldon but weren't able to. Im so glad things turned out the way they did.

    Well done, Mr. Watt!
You're talking to me all wrong... It's the wrong tone. You do it again and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron. Hey, tell me, does your mother sew? BOOM. Get her to sew that!

    Top 5 defensive season ever.

This is his 2nd year in the league.

"If I had to pick a center [for an all-time best team], I would take Olajuwon. That leaves out Shaq, Patrick Ewing. It leaves out Wilt Chamberlain. It leaves out a lot of people. And the reason I would take Olajuwon is very simple: he is so versatile. It's not just his scoring, not just his rebounding or not just his blocked shots. He was in the top seven in steals. He always made great decisions on the court. For all facets of the game, I have to give it to him." -Michael Jordan

Its hilarious when you consider all the grief they got for letting Mario Williams go in free agency.

dont hate Mario at all for taking the money that was offered. he'd be stupid NOT to take it really. but to say he couldnt have helped this team out this year is negligent. we've had absolutely no outside pass rush at all this year. its been the watt and antonio smith show on the inside to apply pressure. for all his deficiencies mario could get to the qb. if he had the motor and desire that jj watt does, he too would be a special player because the physical ability is through the roof.
