one of the top 2-3 seasons by an interior lineman in history. Statistically, probably the best.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
But but according to some Niner fans Watt wasnt close to Justin Smith's league.
watt should have tied the record at least. 2 sacks were taken away from him on some very suspect officiating. 1 in miami, and the sack fumble early in the 2nd indy game, which was deemed an incomplete pass to the phantom running back on the left flat, but i digress.
way i see it is that manning is really just having another manning season. watt is rewriting the record books. IMHO watt should also be league MVP. AP has the strongest case as he too made history this year. they both have stats that just jump out at you, and without them each team is significantly worse.
"If I had to pick a center [for an all-time best team], I would take Olajuwon. That leaves out Shaq, Patrick Ewing. It leaves out Wilt Chamberlain. It leaves out a lot of people. And the reason I would take Olajuwon is very simple: he is so versatile. It's not just his scoring, not just his rebounding or not just his blocked shots. He was in the top seven in steals. He always made great decisions on the court. For all facets of the game, I have to give it to him." -Michael Jordan
Oprah's interviewing JJ next week.
LOL, yeah, if I ever finish my time machine I'll make sure not to go back and trade up for Watt. That would be a terrible idea.
