    NFL Executive of the year?

Seems like no one is talking about this award.. who do you think deserves to win this? A lot of people think Elway will win, but I'm hoping Ryan Grigson wins it.

John Schneider. By far IMO. I know I'm a Seahawks homer, but in 3 years this guy has been given horrible draft grades year after year, and yet has grabbed great players out of no where. Lets list the players he's drafted/signed in the last 3 years that now start.

Chris Clemons- 3 straight season with 10 sacks. Signed from the Eagles
Richard Sherman- Former WR. Own college coach didn't even believe in him.
Doug Baldwin- Solid slot receiver. Same as Sherman Harbaugh had no faith. Undrafted free agent.
Brandon Browner- Oregon State Beaver. Spent some time in the CFL before becoming a prow bowler in his first season back in the NFL last year.
Bruce Irvin- Fast. Definitely was worth the first round pick. 8 sacks this year.
Max Unger- Second Round pick. Not a far dive, but is now a pro bowler. One of the best centers in the NFL.
Kam Chancellor- Big hitter. 6th round pick. BAM BAM. Another pro bowler.
Bobby Wagner- 3rd round pick. Could be defensive rookie of the year.
Russell Wilson- Nuff said. 3rd round.
K.J. Wright- Great football speed. Gets to the ball quick. 4th round
Earl Thomas- Looking like he was the better Safety compared to Eric Berry. Kind of obvious but still a steal.
Russell Okung- One of the best LT's in the NFL.
Michael Robinson- QB turned HB turned FB. Smart guy. Follow him on twitter when he isn't playing. He'll explain every play. Also a pro bowler.
    Marshawn Lynch- You serious Buffalo?
Golden Tate- Nice second option. 2nd round.

Red Bryant wasn't drafted by John I don't think but he also is a great player that doesn't get the stats, but is significant to the Seahawks run defense.

These are just some of the great picks they've mad. Many of these picks were scrutinized. Seahawks did their own thing though, and it's paying off.

    Ryan Grigson or John Schneider.

John Elway just made one signing. It's not like he found some no name guys or made any big moves other then an already proven Peyton Manning whose an obvious upgrade over Tebow. It's not like there weren't 6 other teams trying to sign the guy.

This. Call me a homer but in 3 years they rebuilt a 4-12 while making the playoffs and won a playoff game. Now they are a top 10 team.

Why I think Grigson deserves it:

Completely remade the roster: 37 new players this year.

    Hired Chuck Pagano.

Re-signed Reggie and Mathis, whom lead the team in receptions and sacks respectively.

Had a solid draft: Luck, Fleener, Allen, Hilton, Ballard, Brazill, Chapman.

Traded Chris Gronkowski for Cassius Vaughn.. Vaughn ended up starting for most of the year.

Signed Darius Butler off the street. Led the Colts in INT's and also started.

Colts have 40 mil in dead cap space... So he had to do most of his work with not much cap.

Signed Jerrell Freeman from the CFL... ended up 5th in tackles this year (145).

Big part of the 2-14 turnaround to get the team to 11-5.

Grigson, Schneider(sp?) and Elway for the simple fact he had the brass balls to go after manning when tebowmania was flying high. All very deserving

Colts GM would definitely be #2 for me, but I think their coach is COY.

Why? He only coached a few games.

Bruce Arians did the play calling the majority of the season.
