Any thoughts if Jay is signed long term? Or maybe we draft a QB, than let Cutler walk after 2013. I personally despise Cutler and would definitely like to see the Bears enter a new era at QB.

I think Emery is gonna give Cutler every chance to succeed this year. Meaning, heavily addess the OL, get a TE and\or a deep threat, along with finding the right HC\OC to fit Cutler and the team. I think Cutler stays but don't think Emery is in any rush to extend him. He has a lot on his plate and think he gets signed next season.

I think he's very talented, but at the same, a pretty flawed QB...but also one you can win with. If Eli Manning can win a Super Bowl, then so can Jay Cutler.

I think it depends on next year. If we finally give him a good o-line, a TE and a deep threat WR, we'll see how good he can be.

Id let 2013 play out before extending him. Hopefully we get him an improved line and a tight end. Then we can see what Cutler can do. If he can't get it done next year id be OK with moving on from him.

2. see 1

5a. are they breaking the law
5b. if yes, how?

Ok maybe despise was a harsh word to use. I am not a fan of his thats for sure. His numbers had him as the 20th rated passer in football, thats not so great if you ask me.
