I don't like the idea of trading Ethier and overpaying for Bourn. Especially if we are paying part of Ethier's salary. Just make Crawford man up and Leadoff and the team should be fine.

    LF Crawford
    2B/C Ellis
    1B Gonzalez
    CF Kemp
    SS Ramirez
    RF Ethier
    3B Cruz
    C/2B Ellis

That seems like the way to go over blowing up the OF an adding a similar player to Crawford who is also a lefty. Bourn isn't any younger than Ethier. This seems like bad spending to make what might be a minor improvment. If Crawford were able to leadoff this trade would actually make us worse IMO.

To get what they want why would the Dodgers have to give up Cap and Harang as well? They're not that good. They're just average pitchers.

It's from a douchebag wannabe insider for the Ms. He is great with specs, but doesn't have as much insight as he wants to think he is.

this doesnt make a lot of sense to me untill bourn is off the market and seattle doesnt land him... unless LA knocked on the door with a bunch of bags of money wanting not much for specs in return.

I wouldn't put much into this. JAC always talks about "hearing" inside stuff.

    Never comes to fruition. Ever.
