Interesting. Ethier's contract is ridiculous, but the M's do have a bunch of unspent money.

It all depends on cost and what they eat. I wouldnt be down with $17M a year, but $13M would be OK.
Why would they trade him? Cause they are overspending like crazy already, and they could sign Bourn instead so they have a true lead off hitter.

I wouldn't love this, Ethier is a fan favorite, but it all comes down to potential return, say the Dodgers eat a few Million per season, what return are we looking at?
Also if the Dodgers do trade Ethier, they will push hard after Bourn...
