Jamison in for the long haul

    http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/s...kers-long-haul

The Lakers have gone 4-1 with Jamison on the bench

Jamison averaged just 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 5-for-22 from the field (22.7 percent) in the five games he played prior to being benched, and the Lakers went just 2-3 in that span. Jordan Hill, who had been a previous victim of two DNP-CDs from D'Antoni, has been the primary beneficiary of Jamison sitting. Hill is averaging 7.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 16.8 minutes in the Lakers' last four games.
Now if only we could bench Duhon somehow...

This is just ridiculous...Jamison can be a major piece if Dantoni can incorporate him back in the team.

Yeah...Duhon sucks. He scares the sh?$ out of me when he gets the ball. Kinda like when Ron Ron got it in the triangle offense. No, Ron dont do it...BRICK.

Kind of a tricky spot with Jamison. Playing Jamison means less minutes for Hill. Still wish we could get him into the game.

The problem is our offense is still rolling. Defense is our biggest weakness right now, and Hill > Jamison on D.

Now... Maybe we could squeeze 'Twan in at the 3

I dont think there is any question people would rather see Metta, Hill, and Pau as the primary back up bigs.

Bingo. He is a liability on defense but with his ability to hit the outside jumper and slash to the lane he will benefit playing with Nash.

    Sheer foolish talk ...

Duhon has a better assist-to-turnover ratio than Steve Nash does [ by a long shot, in fact ]. Plus, despite his recent long-range slump, Duhon still is hitting his 3s at a better rate on the season than Bryant, Meeks, and MettaRon are and all of them are actually shooting 3-pointers very well so far in 2012-2013. Clearly, there is no legitimate reason to fear Duhon getting/having the ball on offense or spending time on the floor ...

It is great to have opinions. But if they do not square more closely with reality than these of yours, perhaps you should spare yourselves embarrassment and keep them unexpressed ...

I've been to 5 games this season, and Duhon does look so much smoother than Meeks and Morris.... Ya he doesn't score a lot, but the control of the game when Duhon is running the point is very coherent.....

As for Jamison, he's just gonna have to wait until somebody gets hurt.... And lets hope that doesn't happen

Yet the team suffers when Duhon is on the floor. His net production of -6.5 is one of the worst in the entire league this season. I know he is somewhat serviceable on the offensive end but it's hard to overlook how atrocious he is on defense. He allows 0.97 PPP which ranks 296th in the NBA, simply disgusting.
