Am I the only one a little freaked out by the bizarre cult like worship that the players have with Lovie? This Chicago Bears team is more like a cult or than a football team, and they dont win enough games a year to be the cult they are. Some of these guys have a borderline religious fixation with Lovie. We need a coach to come in and break this cult mentality up and make a football team.

Its weird, I don't recall this reaction to any other coach getting fired. I guess its easy for the defense to just lay the blame on the offense and say that Lovie did what he had to do, but making the playoffs and winning the super bowl needs to be the ultimate goal for the players as well and that hasn't happened under Lovie.

It's sad to see fans bash players like this. So what if he's emotional now. I bet most of the players are emotional. A ton of thoughts are going through their heads now and it's going to take some time to get over all this. I'm still a lil upset over the firing of lovie (but then also i don't let sports impact my life so much it'll get in my way of acheiving things i need to).

It's sad (for me) to watch Hester dance around, go backwards and pretty much do anything but return kicks well. His time has come and gone, he get's paid...a lot to do a job, he doesn't do well anymore.

please.. These are grown men grow the hell up your being paid to play a game for chicago none the less. Your not being paid to play for lovie. He was good but not great. Great wins super bowls and super bowls are what your paid for. I dont feel sorry for him. He has made millions and will get hired...i bet philly actually. but they need to lay off of the players who develop relationships with the coaches. It may pass later on but for now, who is to judge what a player should say/think? no one. That is what i'm getting at. People here treat players as objects in a game and not human beings tbh. it's sad they don't see that. It's funny to see fans get all touchy when a players supposedly 'bashes a fan' when he didn't really do that. Realize Chicago has one of the worst fanbases in the the sportsworld, you don't have to agree but it is true. fans bash players/coaches/FO constantly so make sure you realize that as well. Again that goes back to you guys not realizing ppl involved in sports are humans too.
