ZZSource tells me Lovie Smith has been fired
They just read the tweet on the Cutler show and everybody started clapping. I wonder how Cutler will respond.

I'll reserve judgment until I find out who is replacing him. I think Lovie's time here should be remembered as a positive one. I will say this though I'm glad they made a quick decision. At least Emery should be able to get his first choice. I won't celebrate the move yet, but I'm curious to see who the new guy will be. Andy Reidray:

The longest tenured coach in NFL was Andy Reid until he lost his job on Monday. Another coach high one the "most-tenured" coaches list also lost his job in the Chicago Bears' Lovie Smith.
Ian Rapport of NFL.com reports that Bears coach Lovie Smith is out of Chicago, according to a source with knowledge of the team's decision.
