We got Big Apple Bagel here too and I remember when I was little my elementary school used to do Bagel Fridays and Big Apple Bagel used to be the sponsor for it. My go-to bagel was and always will be Cinnamon Sugar, lol.

If you ever stumble upon Ithaca, NY go to College Town Bagels/Ithaca Bakery and proceed to have an experience that will render all other bagels obsolete.
I no longer care about anything here except for the Entertainment Forum, which sucks; the Music forum, which sucks; and the Magic forum, which does NOT suck.

Was in NY for a week for xmas. Bagels EVERY morning. So damn good. My wife got bagels out here 2 days ago and I didn't even know what I was eating. Just terrible.

can't even look at the bagels here in LA. Even the lox were better out there.
Bagel Boss is my go to when I go back and visit family in NY. Always stop at the one in Hicksville and pickup two dozen everythings. Even a few days later when they are hard and super chewy they still blow any other bagel out of the water IMO.

HA that's the one I went to. My mom is in Hicksville.

Everything is the best, especially in NY where everything includes salt. So many CA bagel places don't have salt on the everything bagels.

I could eat Bagel Boss cream cheese with a spoon. I pity the fool that thinks Philadelphia cream cheese is good cream cheese.

Agreed. Philadelphia sucks in all its endeavors.

Oh and there is nothing better than a NY everything bagel with good cream cheese and mother ****in LOX!

Lox or smoked salmon makes my day worth living.

I just love walking into and just smelling the air.

An everything bagel to me must have salt. Every time I get bagel else where and it doesn't, its just not right.

Just got back from Big Apple Bagels. Not bad. Everything is pretty good. Its not even in the same universe as Bagel Boss though.

New York Bagel & Bialy is by far the best bagel in the Chicagoland area.

They have a couple locations, but I think the original in Lincolnwood is the best.

My order is usually a Garlic Bagel, toasted, with heavy schmear.

Im from Jersey so we have great bagels everywhere. I usually go to a place called bagel boys. I favorite is an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese sliced tomatoes topped with little salt and garlic

Nothing beats NY bagels; even Long Island bagels are far superior to any others I've had.

Living in CT, my one and only choice is Ami's Bagels in Waterbury.
