Webb won't start nor should he, but he's cheap swing tackle. He's making 7th round salary, dumping him would be dumb.
With the 20th pick, the Chicago Bears select...

    HC- Bruce Arias
    OC- Norv Turner
    DC- Ron Rivera
    ST- Dave Toub

There is a connection between them all so it's not 4 random guys. If Lovie is canned this is my choice.

I really want us to resign Urlacher. He was finally getting back into a rhythm before he hurt his hamstring and I think he'd be great to groom a guy like Ogletree for the future. He knows our system better than anybody, he could be back to normal with a full season of rehab and I just don't see how we can get someone to fill in the void this quickly.

If he'd be willing to sign a deal for 4-5 million then I don't see a better option. Ultimately it'll depend on if Lovie stays and if we plan on switching defenses, but I think Urlacher needs to come back.

Wasn't able to watch most of the games towards the end of the season due to the Giants, but how did Carimi perform at RG?

#Bears assistants are freaking out inside the building. Coach Lovie Smith's status is "not looking good." Decision time for #Bears.

Whoa: Bears have sent out consent forms requesting permission to interview head-coaching candidates.

If the Bears can trade down some, still get Barrett Jones and pick up a 3rd round pick, I am all for that.

Emotional Devin Hester says he is considering retiring from NFL
An emotional Devin Hester says he's not sure he wants to play for the Bears anymore. He is furious at Lovie Smith's firing.
I put it in the Lovie thread but posting it here to

Well the firing certainly change the idea of whether we HAVE to go for a dominant ILB in the 1st.

I think pass rusher is becoming a more entertaining idea now, tbh... Aside from O-line, obviously.

I'm not saying I necessarily want him for us, but Glennon has looked pretty good.
