From Pewter Report:

The Buccaneers finished the 2012 season with a 7-9 record, going a disappointing 0-4 against the NFC East opponents, posting a 3-1 record against AFC West opponents and going 3-3 against the NFC South by virtue of winning at Atlanta, 22-17, on Sunday. The Bucs split the series with the Falcons 1-1, were swept by the Saints, but did sweep the Panthers. All four teams in the NFC South finished with 3-3 records within the division.

Although Tampa Bay’s 2013 NFL schedule is not yet known in terms of times and dates, the Buccaneers do know which teams they will be facing next year now that the 2012 campaign has concluded. Aside from its usual slate of NFC South opponents, Tampa Bay will be playing teams from the suddenly rugged NFC West and AFC East next year.

The Bucs will host Arizona (5-11), San Francisco (10-5-1), Buffalo (6-10) and Miami (7-9) in addition to Atlanta (13-3), Carolina (7-9) and New Orleans (7-9).

The Bucs will travel to St. Louis (7-8-1), Seattle (11-5), New England (12-4), and New York to play the Jets (6-10), in addition to visiting Atlanta (13-3), Carolina (7-9) and New Orleans (7-9).

By virtue of finishing fourth in the NFC South, the Buccaneers will host the Eagles from the NFC East and will travel to Detroit to face the Lions from the NFC North. Both Philadelphia (4-12) and Detroit (4-12) finished fourth in their respective divisions. The Bucs lost to the Eagles three weeks ago at Raymond James Stadium, 23-21.

Of the opponents the Bucs will be playing in 2013, five games will feature teams that have qualified for the 2012 playoffs. Atlanta (twice), New England and San Francisco were division winners this year, while Seattle also earned a postseason trip as a wild card team.

The 2013 NFL schedule complete with dates and times typically comes out in April prior to the NFL Draft.
