Agree. I really like GeNo.. He kind of looks like another RGIII to me.. However, I wouldn't mind trading down to get more weapons..

I doubt the Jags trade with us just to get Tebow..They know we're releasing him and can pick him up later.

Geno smith is not another RGIII. People are going to say that because they are both black QB's. RGIII is a much more mobile qb. He also has off the chart leadership ability and charisma. Geno is an Air Raid system QB. I think he is overrated and wouldn't take him in the first round. This is the kind of draft that is weak in talent. Trade your 1st pick and stockpile picks. Don't take a mediocre qb just to take a qb.

I'm hoping we can find the best OT or MLB at #9....maybe a WR?

Trade back, acquire more picks, trade one of the CBs (preferably Cromartie), trade Sanchez for a bag of baseballs and donate the baseballs to me, trade Harris to recoup the lost 4th, and make many draft picks.

Beyond QB, the most obvious need, the priorities as I see it:

Pass rushing blood at OLB as well as a developmental mid-rounder to eventually replace Pace, who should be brought back for a much lower price
At least one new OG and a RT (overall probably need three new OLmen)
    A FS
    A feature RB
    Another ILB
    A kicker
    WR depth
    CB depth

There's probably more...a QB would cover alot of that.

You lost me after the trade Cromartie thing........why would I trade one of the few bright spots in this team??? Our secondary was DOMINANT! Cromartie+Wilson+Bell+Landry had a heck of a year...keep those guys there..

I really hope we don't draft a qb in the first round I don't think any of them are worth it

Call me crazy but I'd really like Manti Te'o. The kid is just a stud.

If Manti is there we should take him, we can move Davis outside and or front seven can be set with addition of a OLB later on in draft or free agency. He's most complete player at a position of need LB. If hr isn't available I'd go for Mingo or a OLineman. Truthfully haven't seen alot of most of these guys. But if we can grab Te'o we get prolly most sure bet in the draft. I'm not feeling these QBs in 1st round. Trading back also a possibility.

Don't really care that we have the 9th pick at this moment.

If we could get Luke Joeckel at #9, we could not pass that up. He is far and away the best O-Lineman in the draft along with Chance Warmack and would help bolster our line which is where we need to start. After that we need a QB, WR, RB, TE, OLB, and FS (assuming we don't get Landry back).

Ill take Alex Smith and Manti Teo all day...

rather not waste a Draft pick for a rookie QB...
Alex smith and Dwayne Bowe plus some oline help and Teo.

Trade Harris for some picks if we cant renegotiate his contract....

    Luke Joeckel
    Chance Warmack

    are my backup picks

I am guessing with a Norv Turner signing getting a scrambling QB is not going to work. He needs a pocket passer. So pass on Geno...
