For a back to rush for nearly 2100 yards in this pass happy age is astonishing, particularly when he blew out his ACL and MCL one year ago. Plus he has had no help from the passing game for the most part. It's hard to compare the greats but it's quite apparent he's one of them, if not at the top of the list when it's all said and done.

He did more with less? How so, Rodgers has Nelson, Cobb, Jones, Finley, and Jennings for part of the season? Now all of a sudden DT and Decker are something bigger than that bunch?

Go see how often jennings and nelson were in the lineup. Add injuries to the O-line,Runningbacks and the entire defense and hopefully you get the picture. This broncos team made the playoffs with Tim Tebow as their quarterback!! the packers would be a 3-4 win team without Rodgers.

Not to mention comparing Denver's top 5 D to the Packer's average D
Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "

Congratulations AP! Second all time in rushing, and you singlehandedly carried the Vikings into the playoffs on the 1-year anniversary of your ACL tear.

he did good but im glad ED gets to keep his record

Peterson should get the MVP. He is all that team has for offense and defenses still can't stop him let alone contain him. Peyton leads Denver to 5 more wins than Tebow...big ****ing whoop.

Plus, its not like Peyton set himself sooo far ahead of the other QBs in the league this year. It could be argued that he wasn't the best QB this year with Rodgers, Brady, Ryan, Romo even the 3 rookies. Peterson by far was the best RB in the league, cannot be argued. No argument can be made for another RB being better than Peterson. I said good day sir!

You have to consider that Eric Dickerson had roughly 30 more rushing attempts. Had Peterson had the same amount of carries as Dickerson had, he would have got the record. And would have beat it by about 300 yards.

So in my opinion, AP's season beats Dickerson's season.

Proud of Peterson, and the rest of the team. Excited to be a Vikings fan right now!

I think AP deserves, But i think rodgers had a better season than peyton manning especially since the packers had no run game and if it has to go a qb it better be rodgers

In all seriousness, this may be one of the best individual seasons in sports history considering the circumstances.

Then I don't feel so dumb.
