Adrian Peterson finishes 9 yards shy of the all time rushing record

Still a phenomenal season and I think he deserves props from every fan regardless of team affiliation.

Congratulations AP! Second all time in rushing, and you singlehandedly carried the Vikings into the playoffs on the 1-year anniversary of your ACL tear.

    So effing close

    Clear MVP
Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "

Is it really clear that he is the MVP?

Could a legitimate case be made for Peyton Manning?

Could a legitimate case be made for JJ Watt?

This season long rushing performance is a significant achievement and deserving of any accolades or recognition he receives.

Peterson carried that team over us to the playoffs. He's the MVP, IMO.

he's the MVP by my standards. best pure runner I've seen since Juice.
"When I go home people'll ask me, 'Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? What, you some kinda war junkie?' You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it.They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is."
