Who is the best Defender you have ever seen play

For me it has to be Gary Payton.
To clarify i don't mean statistical best but best at the eye test whos D just pops out to you.

    Big: Prime Ben Wallace.

    Wing: Prime Pippen.

    PG: Prime GP.

I guess the prime goes without saying. Ben Wallace used to be an absolute force of nature though, so fun to watch.

Pippen... guards anyone from 6' to 6'11 effectively... not to mention the help-side and passing lane D.

Rodman with Det... similar to Pippen at that time but more man-to-man, not as good playing the passing lanes and help-side.

Honorable mentions... Hakeem, GP, Deke, Artest @ Pacers, Jordan.

I'm trying to think of someone similar...
Maybe Tim Duncan or David Robinson in their primes if they was able to go out and defend wings on the arc good.
