Honestly they looked tired this season..
With the emergence of Russell Wilson, RGIll and CK we definately have to address the Defense this off season all across the board. Starting with Perry Fewell. We need to get rid of old players and implement a much more aggressive scheme on dedense. At this point a bunch of NFC teams are better than we are right. Seattle, SF Atl, Skins...are better.
Missing the playoffs this year may be a sign that we are ready for a new era ....a more aggressive style of play? Im on board for one last run for Coughlin.....winning a SB would sent all these current coaches off on top and sure enough to get quick jobs(IF)IF...we dominate or win the division....we cant have another collapse and get in by the skin of our teeth.
Either way its our last run with ground and pound football...its a more dynamic league now...with a more open style of play we have to build this team up to be able to compete at that level for years to come.
It would be sweet to win the SB in our house and close out the TC era as the most success HC in Giants history and start a new era of smash mouth football with Bill Cowher....then hopefully we can build s dynasty of consistent playoff dominance and become the alltime SB winning team in NFL history.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 18-1Signature of a Champion!
ELI MANNING.... 2X SB MVP....2X SB CHAMPION!
We need LBs to address the mobile QB issue. Ones with the speed to get to the edge. Williams and Paysinger are our fastest, but not exactly the best around.
Our RFAs:Albert Breer@AlbertBreer
And here are the tenders for RFAs ... High tender is $2.879M (1st-Rd comp); Next is $2.023M (2nd-Rd comp); Then $1.323M (original draft rd).
Cruz (this is the one that really matters as far as that pay and compensation above)
Pascoe
Stevie Brown
Typically our RFAs have been 2nd stringers or TEs. 3 of our biggest players for 2012, Stevie Brown, Andre Brown and Cruz, are RFAs this year. Some teams just might take a stab at them if we tender them.
Given that they have plans for a deal on the table for Cruz, he probably won't get tendered, but if negotiations stall at all he sure will while they work out a deal through the offseason and preseason. Fortunately he's a classy guy who might not hold out.
If KP doesn't get a deal, I'm sure Stevie Brown WILL, so that's not likely an issue.
Andre Brown is another story. With the money they have tied up with Bradshaw and now a 1st rounder in Wilson, they can't afford to tie up a lot of money at one position with the needs on oline, D and FAs. Unless Bradshaw is cut loose, traded or restructured, it might be tough to hang onto Andre Brown with a tender.

Eli Manning is heading to the pro bowl as Aaron Rodgers replacement.
Quarterback Class of 2004 1st Round starters
I thought for sure that Lovie Smith would get a head coaching job and it no longer looks like that will happen.. Can the Giants PLEASE bring him in as a D coordinator! Would be a GREAT fit!
Wisenhunt to Broncos for OC.. I'm a Gilbride defender but that would have been a great upgrade for us..
ERFA isnt RFA, just FYI GGGGG-Men
Who's a erfa? And what does it mean?
Exclusive Rights Free Agent. Andre Brown, Tracy and Trattou. Means they are a FA with no more than 2 (? or 3) years experience and the team has exclusive negotiation rights to them; meaning they give him an offer that is at or above the minimum and the player HAS TO accept it or leave the NFL.
^Pretty much that. Its just technically not restricted (by NFL terms, not dictionary definition)
