To break the tie, I'll make a new thread as the tiebreaker, the voters that have already voted may NOT vote again in that thread. First team to 3 votes will win.

Between close matchups, obv not. I don't understand how 6 people can vote for a team that's clearly inferior and does not matchup well at all. The MOST you can say for Shaktar is that they have a better CB pairing and their midfield MAY defend better than BVB's, that's literally it.

I've sent a VM to 3 GM's I think are capable of breaking this tiebreaker.

Avenged, Hoopsdrive and Wilson will vote each on who wins, 2 of 3 wins.

Dortmund here, better wide play and midfield should see them through. Shakhtar has the better overall defense (using the 4-2-3-1) but definitely not out wide, with Dortmund's strength being their wide play sealing the deal. Also, not a fan of Rooney as the only center forward, always preferred him roaming behind a more fixed player.

Sorry guys I haven't been online for a few days. I think I would have voted for Dortmund, if only because Shaktar had the wrong formation for the players there. Rooney should be behind another striker (he's not nearly as good as a lone striker as he is behind one), and I wouldn't start Modric.
