Back to the subject of the thread....
You have a better chance of getting your face stuck in the place of your choice on the subject of Wyld1's sig, than the Yanks have of getting Stanton.
He is a star that has yet to reach his arbitration years... They will want good young talent that is under club control for years to come..
so, forget anybody being of value to them that is already on the yankee 25 man roster... None of they qualify as being good and under control for years to come....
I can see the Mariners getting him though... They have 3 or 4 really good pitchers at AAA that are ready or really close to ready and project to be stars for years to come.
Give up Banuelos, Sanchez, Heathcott, Granderson, Michael Pineda(if we can even trade him), and Eduardo Nunez....although they could prob get far better deals.
we aren't getting stanton. simple as that

For the record, I have alot more opinions on the yankees then just those concerning Cashman and Pineda, most of which makes a lot of sense to those more who actually have an open mind.
Just for clarification, my original comment was an "editorial" on what appears to be the contemptuous nature in which your father holds your relationship, to the point where he was possibly willing to wait until after he was already gone for you to find out he had died. I'm sorry if you found this offensive, or took it the wrong way, but those were my thoughts on what little you decided to share, and I tend not to sugarcoat.
There are men, in all ages, who mean to exercise power usefully; but who mean to exercise it. They mean to govern well; but they mean to govern. They promise to be kind masters; but they mean to be masters.

I have a feeling quite a number of you never want to listen to any other opinion other than your own anyway. Your mind is already in ignore mode from the start. It'll be a relief not to have to waste my time scanning thru another ignorant reply that has no value towards a discussion.
