Thanks guys.
The Yankees need to get creative and younger:
Stanton for Nova, Romine, Betances, Gardner and one other prospect. I think the Marlins would benefit from such a trade,
If Cano does not accept a 5 or 6 year deal, then find a trading partner for him too. How about Cano to St Louis for Y. Molina and prospects?

Long story short
1.) I'd give them almost ANYTHING! (Righty, Young, OF, Stud....everything we need)
2.) 9.6% it's unlikely we get'em
.....next?
Yankees - Romine, Benuelous, Betances, Nunez, Granderson (Plus 10 of 15 million left on contract).
Marlins - Stanton, Relief pitching
Almost anything and anyone (except Yogi Berra, he's ours for keeps), but I doubt we have the chips to pull him in. We'd probably have to trade Cano and/or Granderson to get the chips (because them make no sense for Miami), and in that case I would think those teams would just prefer to get Stanton themselves.
Trade 5 prospects of their choosing + Granderson + Nova + A-Rod (and we pay half his salary for the duration), and if necessary, one of our three top picks we have sitting in the first 65 overall selections we have in this draft.
Marlins give Stanton + Nolasco + either a mid-level infield prospect (preferably short or third) or a later round pick in this draft.
Then A-Rod can go back "home" and we tell him that he either waives his no-trade clause or his playing time drastically diminishes.
