2 guys due to hit free agency in 2014 and command big money for a 23-year old stud right fielder still under team control for a few more years?

Do you people even think sometimes before you speak?

I do not think he will be a Yankees, but I do think the Marlins would make a wise decision to trade him to someone. I mean, why would you want your star right fielder on your team when he has publicly said he is dissatisfied with the organization? Your better off getting 3-4 high tier prospects for him, or impact players.

From our prospects...Austin and Sanchez keep. Anything else, and they can have it.

Thank you Mo! We will forever be grateful for your service to our team not only as a player, but as a person. A living legend. You will forever be in our hearts, and forever be the greatest of all time. Now go get them one last time, Sandman!

Yankees dont have the inventory to deal for Stanton. Marlins would want two potential impact prospects to step into their lineup next year.

    Will it be enough?

I believe only way to get Giancarlo Stanton is to take Ricky Nolasco as well. This removes highest paid player from Marlins (Nolasco).

I think you must provide players with controllable options and prospects:

    1. Nova (4 yrs of control)
    2. Gardner (2 yrs of control)
    3. Nunez (5 yrs of control)
    4. Phelps (5 yrs control)
    5. Montgomery
    6. Williams
    7. Romine

This might work. Marlins would receive a proven double digit winner and potential #2 starter (Nova), lead- off hitter and great defensive outfielder (Gardner), versatile and proven major league hitter (Nunez), #3 potential starter or proven reliever (Phelps), future closer (Montgomery), top prospect (Williams) and good defensive catcher to platoon (Romine)

The key I believe is the proven major league players in this deal. As always the prospects could change, depending on Marlins wishes. For example may take Austin instead of Williams or Sanchez instead of Romine or Betances instead of Montgomery, etc.
