I know we are a long shot but what would you realistically offer the marlins for him?

Doubt it'll work though.
we dont have enough to land him, they would either say no to cano or do a cano center deal with hopes of resigning him if they were to invest money but at the same time require Austin - mason williams, sanchez and montgomery
First:
Curtis Granderson & Melky Mesa/Corban Joseph to Texas for Mike Olt
Then:
Ivan Nova, Mike Olt, Mason Williams, Gary Sanchez, Eduardo Nunez, Adam Warren
for
Mike Stanton and Ricky Nolasco (1 year, $11m salary dump,)
.

I'd give them whatever they want. They can have our top 5 prospects.
Fk....only one might even make it anyway.

A 7 for 1 deal, plus Yankees get one or two throw ins that the Marlins have to cut from their 40 man roster. For Stanton, the Yankees give the Marlins
1) A starting pitcher and a starting OF – one under team control and one ready to be a free agent – so either Gardner and Hughes or Granderson and Nova
2) A pitching prospect – Betances or Pineda
3) A catcher or catching prospect – Romine or Murphy
4) An attendance draw and money to pay for him – A-rod plus $12 million per year for the rest of his contract
5) A set up man / closer - Joba Chamberlain or Aardsma
6) A young shortstop - Nunez
I just want to keep Tyler Austin
Michael Pineda, Jose Campos, Dellin Betances and Ivan Nova. That's an offer the Marlins can't refuse.
