The one and only answer is Mike Trout.

The Giants would trade Posey for Trout without even having to think about it for longer than half a second.

    Trout is the obvious answer.

Its hard to put Kershaw, Verlander, Price in the mix for this question since they play every 5 days.

What are you talking about the OP gave 2 names IN the post. You didn't understand what he was asking, not other people

James Shields bagged the best prospect in baseball, so I'll say him.

Would you trade Trout for Kershaw or Kershaw for Trout?

I would say Stanton. As good as Trouts last season was it's one HOF type season, you don't know how good he is going to be next year.

Stanton has been in the game for a while and has provided elite production for years at a very young age in 2 home stadiums that are horrible for hitters.

    Stanton
Offseason Tracker: Signed AJ & Soto, Soria, Berkman, Frasor, redoing the main concourse entrance, raised ticket prices. Lost Hamilton, Koji, Young, Napoli, Dempster, Adams, Feldman, Lowe, Oswalt

Quest to watch a game in all 30 baseball stadiums, so far I have seen: Arizona, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City, LA Angels, LA Dodgers, Miami, NY Mets, NY Yankees, St. Louis, San Diego, Seattle, Texas, Washington

Agreed. Trout had 3 HOF type months last year, before falling off the last couple months of the season.

    .284/.366/.500 in August

    .289/.400/.500 in September

Pretty good for a fall off.

If you want to nitpick, how about Stantons .247/.286/.342 in April and
    .242/.339/.453 in June?
You have no idea how excited I am right now.
