    McCarthy matches Holmgren's legacy

Found this interesting. Didn't know McCarthy has pretty much tied Holmgren's records as far as w/l, divison titles and so forth. I've always considered Holmgren as one of the best coaches we've ever had as I now do the same with MM. What are your thoughts on MM's legacy so far?

I wouln't trade him for another coach. If Mike & Ted stay here for long time then I would think many NFC North titles & Super Bowls.

Agree. I think the relationship between MM and Thompson is very similar to what Holmgren and Wolfe had. We definitely have one of the best coach/GM duos I've seen.

I remember I was so angry with McCarthy's hiring. The biggest complaint I had was that he was an offensive coordinator for a Niner's offense that was something like second or third to last, and the penalties that his offense had were something close to number one.

I'm really glad I was wrong.

Someone please tell MM you don't throw the challenge flag on a turnover or TD which is automatically reviewed. How come the players know this but the head coach doesn't? ESPECIALLY after the Lions Thanksgiving debacle.

He's been great though for the most part. Definitely a top 5 coach IMO.

MM is a great coach and an even better QB coach. But sometimes his play calling and his time management is questionable.
But I´m thankful he´s the Packers coach.
