I have yet to play Dead Space 2. I need to get on that before the 3rd game comes out.

I'm not a fan of the idea of having an extra character (co-op multiplayer) in the mix. The game is fine with having Issac alone.
I busted my lip on my controller the first time I ran into a Nightkin on New Vegas.
The game itself wasn't scary, but that was one of the worst jump scares I've ever experienced. I've never really played any horror games.
**** Condemned and Condemned 2.
The first Resident Evil scared my little *** to pieces when I was like 8

I remember playing "The Mummy" on PC a ton of years ago and some of the enemies you have to kill are freakin' scary, I was even afraid of the Mummies lol.
Try eternal darkness its the trippiest game I've played my ex got me hooked on it. Other than that I'm an RPG girl.

Dead Space is definitely the scariest game I've ever played. To those of you claiming you didn't find it scary, go ahead and bump that difficulty level up a tad and try again.![]()
Dead Island was pretty scary too. Didn't have the same terrifying environment as Dead Space, but it made me jump constantly.
PHILLIES EAGLES FLYERS SIXERS
Once you get into the city in Dead Island it starts to get way creepier. You hear all sorts of background shouts and grunts but you can never really be sure if its just there to throw you off or if there is actually someone coming up behind you.
When I played RE1 back in middle school I definitely had a heart attack when the dogs jumped through the windows. The boss fight in that game gave me anxiety too, until I figured out how easy he was. RE2 was pretty terrifying at times too, the whole police station with that music in the background
Silent Hill 1 was creepy, especially when you're stuck in the high school with only a flashlight and a pipe. Never played and Silent Hill games after that one though.
Doom 3 had it's moments as long as you didnt turn the brightness up. Never thought Dead Space was that creepy though, but I also didn't finish the game. Got bored halfway through and put it down
Oh I know, I got the platinum in it. I couldn't put it down. The environment is definitely nerve racking at times, but all the time you spend on the beach out in the bright sunshine etc isn't nearly as intense. Dead Space is dark and creepy from start to finish. You literally have to watch your back everywhere you go, and you rarely ever have the luxury of being able to see what's coming until it's right on top of you. That's why I loved it so much. You literally have to be on your toes in every room, every hallway, etc. There are no "safe rooms" or anything. The only thing I didn't like about DS2 was that the campaign was so much shorter because of MP. They really need to start releasing games with 2 discs or something for people who don't play online a lot.
RE2 is the greatest survival horror game ever made imho. I wish they still made RE's that way. RE4 was fantastic and a breath of fresh air, but it's been all down hill since. Not that RE5 or RE6 are bad games, but they just aren't the same. They're still fun games to play, but there is nothing remotely scary about them at all. When I played RE1 back in middle school I definitely had a heart attack when the dogs jumped through the windows. If you liked Silent Hill, you absolutely must play Silent Hill 2. SH was a great game, SH2 just takes it to a whole new level. SH3 was good too, but didn't do very much to build on anything that SH2 did. SH4 was kind of creepy at times, but my disc got all scratched up so I never really got the chance to ever get into it. Every SH game that's come out since then has sucked complete ball sack. Homecoming was just a complete disgrace to the SH name.

I've never played any of the Silent Hill's, but I just picked up the first Silent Hill for the original Playstation the other day. Once I finish that one I'll pick up the Silent Hill HD Collection which includes Silent Hill 2 and 3. I'm ready to get scared![]()
