Jason Isringhousen 93 IP, 9-2, 2.81 ERA, 1.28 whip at age 22

Remember the fact that Paul Wilson was also more hyped much like Wheeler is now.

Wilson at age 22 at AA/AAA in 1995 - 186 IP, 2.41 ERA, 1.029 whip and was the #1 prospect in baseball

Wheeler at age 22 at AA/AAA - 149 IP, 3.26 ERA, 1.16 whip and is a top 15 prospect in baseball



I could see it now in 3 years the Mets trade Harvey for a soft tossing loser and Wheeler is playing for another team after numerous injuries.
