Would that make ditka part of the landry coaching tree or the halas?

I count ditka as part of the landry coaching tree since he coached under landry and he did not coach under halas

yeah coaching trees are usually someone you have coached with. ditka's is looked at a bit differently due to all the former players who have become coaches.

Coaching trees are where coaches coached under you as assistants. Thus they talked so much about Walsh disciples.
