    Steve Blake's Return

    http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...-in-2-3-weeks/

I used to like Duhon, but the guy plays absolutely ZERO defense and over the last 5 games he is shooting 27% FGS!!! Making a whopping 3 baskets.

Morris has shown he is way too turnover prone to run the offense, although I do think he is competent defensively.

Personally I never thought I would be excited for Blake to return.

I've tried to find a backup PG we could trade for that can run an offense, play defense and knock down an open three consistently, but I don't think one exists.

It looks like Steve Blake may be our best option to shore up the PG spot.

That's depressing to think about, Blake is awful.

Yes he is better than Duhon and even a small improvement at that position can go a long way.

I'm not a Steve Blake supporter by any means. It's just that Duhon has got to go...

Blake is a solid backup and not nearly as bad as some people think. He's good as the 3rd or 4th best player off the bench. Delonte west would be one of the best backups in the nba, but he has all kinds of issues and would be risky.

Exactly! Just watched him on Sportscenter thinking the same thing... Blake is garbage! Highest average is 5 pts in 2 years in LA! I would trade him and Duhon if I could!

Me too and I thought Steve was playing ok for us this year before the injury. Still, I'm not expecting much. As long as he hits open 3s, I'm good.

Remember, we havn't seen steve blake play in this system yet.. This is a better system for him to play in. Nobody was sure what the offense would look like with nash back(hopeful but not positive about results) and look how that turned out.. Lakers were ballin the other night against portland and looked lost without him.. Of course nash is 7293143219874124 times better then blake, but what I'm trying to say is if blake is put in the right system I think he could be very effective as well. I think this is the right system, I'm excited to see him return actually. I hope he gives great quality minutes off the bench and keeps nash's minutes down because that's what we need really, a PG that keeps nash's minutes down.
