For all those pointing to Cope's better all around offensive game, when we're at full strength, we''re not gonna need all that. I hope we're not gonna be relying on Cope manufacturing offense much longer, although he is darn good at it.

What Novak has that Cope doesn't is the ability to shoot quick coming off screens and curls. Cope has been automatic on spot up catch-and-shoot jumpers or little freeze moves off the dribble, but Novak curling off a set play is more useful down the line IMO.

We're short handed right now, so Cope is definitely a better option. But when it's a tight game later in the season and Woody draws up one of his patented out of bounds plays, it's more likely to involve Novak than Cope. (assuming Melo and co are healthy)

These are good points. I think we need to see if Novak can shake free when Melo, STAT and to an extent Felton are back in the lineup and we see how the D adjusts.

I understand what hes saying is true, and we all know Novak has the ability to drill 7 threes, but that really does nothing to outweight the duds he lays on a nightly basis. We need him to go off more than once in a blue moon or he just doesn't do enough out there for us. I understand the spacing, but Cope is shooting better at this point anyway. If they don't smother him like they smother Novak, were burning them with wide open catch and shoot 3s with a guy who shoots it at a 50% clip.

I don't buy it. If a guy can score with 3rd stringers on the floor he can score with super stars on the floor. You think it would have been harder for him to destroy his defender in Sac-town with Melo, Felton and Amare on the floor???

I think Copeland is showing that he is as special an offensive talent off the bench as Novack is a 3 point specialist. I'll take that player in every situation. He deserves 20 minutes a night at this point.

We're definitely wasting his talents. Dude needs to start over Brewer. He would better space the floor and defenders won't be resting on defense when he plays. And we can get off to better starts which really seems to be the problem.

I wasn't sold on this kid 3 weeks ago...but have some of you noticed that hes learning alota mellos moves.....?,,,,, And...and.... Kinda successful at it...hes growing right before our eyes... If he learns how to post up...holy jesus...you can bank him at 12 a game .
