Shump is an easy guy to fit in.
And Amare/Chandler/Melo have been together for a while now and had a full camp and pre camp. And that trio was 8-2 under Woody last year.
The D'antoni ERA was full of excuses, just like now in LA.
Woody just wins with whoever he has, period. Look at the lineup they've had the last 2 games and they would have been 2-0 had it not been for that miraculous buzzer beater last night. Kidd/White/Brewer/Thomas/Chandler
^^^Nycerican that was against the Suns(probably the 2nd or 3rd worse team in the west) after JR took out our best player and luckily managedbto hit the game winner. Then they go to visit the worst team in the west and lose on another buzzer beater. Melo or not they should be wiping the floor with these teams. They still get my vote for the finals though.
Back to the OP's question. . .My vote goes to the Bulls .

Yes they should win without Melo, but Knicks are missing alot more than just Melo.
take away 5 key rotation players from any team and any road win is impressive.
MIA was missing only Wade last night and still lost to DET.
There's no such thing as an easy road win in the NBA, even the worst teams still have decent home records. PHO & SAC combined have an 18-14 home recoard. So saying NY should "wipe the floor" with those teams while they are missing 5 key players is really asking too much.
Still too early....but I'll say Knicks. Not that it matters any. Miami has proven they're capable of winning in any venue when the playoffs arive, and the Knicks can do it as well.
